So if you’ve joined me this week, you know I’ve suggested baby steps if you’re trying to make your health a priority in the new year. On the first day of the year, I suggested starting by doing five minutes of cardio. On the second, I suggested doing ten minutes of cardio. Yesterday, I suggested fifteen minutes of cardio. Today, I suggest building up to twenty minutes of cardio.
What I Did
I put my shoes on and climbed on my Body Runner stationary bike. Then I used my bike for twenty continuous minutes.
- See your doctor and confirm that you are healthy enough for exercise.
- Pick your cardio: running, biking, elliptical, swimming; even walking will do.
- Do cardio for twenty minutes. If you can’t do your chosen cardio for fifteen minutes, do it as long as you are able and work to improve daily.
